Eagle News
I know that the link above is not about Etsy, but it is something dear to my heart. On March 12, FGCU students slept outside with only cardboard boxes and blankets. We made our own shanties to sleep in that night; the purpose of doing this was to experience one night of homelessness. At first it was fun, we had speakers and a pb&j dinner; but in the early morning hours it got really cold and very few of us were able to sleep. This was my third year attending this event, and as vice president of Students Against Hunger and Homelessness, I played a big role in setting it up. It was a lot of work, but well worth it!
